Axis at One Aldwych has reopened with a stylish new design and exciting Modern British menus.
Tony Fleming, our Executive Chef, has created a fantastic menu inspired by the best seasonal ingredients with dishes such as; 'Smoked eel, marinated beetroot, cured pork belly, pear and celeriac remoulade', 'Fillet of hake, roasted shallot and fennel, winkles, beurre noisette' and 'Haunch of Denham Estate venison, sautéed cabbage, salsify, cassis shallots'.
Axis Bar overlooks the double height restaurant and features a wall of wine. Enjoy a varied selection of wines by the glass, delicious cocktails or even a plate of smoked salmon blini with caviar or homemade pork scratchings!
A weekly fixed price menu is available at lunchtime and for pre and post theatre supper.
A classic Bellini, a three course dinner and a classic movie in the luxurious screening room. Friday and Saturday evenings, dinner from 6.30pm with a movie screening at 8.30pm.
